Dr. Lisa Arndt from Iowa has been raising funds and speaking out about cancers that affect men. The chiropractor’s colleague is also helping out by participating in “Movember” where participants grow a mustache this month to raise money for prostate cancer research.
(Bettendorf, Iowa November 18, 2011) – Dr. Lisa Arndt, who offers treatment and prevention of back and neck injuries, is proudly raising funds and spreading awareness for cancers affecting men, while having a bit of fun.
Movember has kicked off their fifth annual world-wide campaign, challenging men around the world to show support by growing a Mo (slang for moustache) this November. To help support Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, today men and women can raise funds and awareness for men’s health by registering at www.movember.com.
Participation is not only fun but simple. Once registered, men are challenged to start the month clean-shaven and grow a Mo. The moustache becomes the hairy ribbon for men’s health and the growing them are a walking billboard for 30 days.
